Ashwin Returns to CSK After a Decade

Ashwin, who was instrumental in CSK’s back-to-back IPL titles in 2010 and 2011, expressed his excitement about rejoining the franchise. He recalled the 2011 auction, where CSK aggressively bid for him, saying that history seemed to repeat itself this time.
“They say life is a circle. I played for CSK from 2008 to 2015, and whatever I learned during that period helped me reach this stage in my international career. It’s been 10 years, and I feel nostalgic about coming back.”
Ashwin also acknowledged the unwavering support of CSK fans over the years, sharing how they always respected him, even when he played for Rajasthan Royals at the Chepauk.
